Hard Boiled Egg Tip

An easy way I've found to keep track of which eggs are cooked and which ones are raw is to throw a few onion skins (the brown crinkly part) in with the ones I'm cooking. They come out a pale tan shade and are very easy to distinguish between your raw eggs whether you are using white or brown eggs. And the onion skins to not alter the flavor of the eggs in any way.
